You will earn points and nights for the Residence Club bookings made directly with Hyatt (not through a timeshare presentation offer or OTA). Be aware that typically no elite benefits are offered to Residence Club guests, regardless of their Hyatt status, although some properties may do it just to be nice. No free breakfast, parking, late checkout, or waived resort fees (on cash bookings). Been burned by that in Sedona.
