I was highly amused last night when I took one of my teams out for a nice meal as a thank you for a job brilliantly done. We were all excited when the 7th or 8th course on the menu was described as a beef tartare with blood orange, yogurt, wild greens, and some other things. Sounded well worth trying.
Imagine our collective surprise when a beeT tartare showed up. I was the only person who found it funny, which means I now know that none of them are reading this forum...
If it's good enough for a Michelin starred joint, then it's good enough for the Polaris Lounge, I guess!
