A few questions:

I'm fortunate to have easy access to Giant PA and Giant MD, but to now also frequently travel to S&S territory. Giant PA is easy because you can get your gas completely free. In such circumstances, Giant MD is only useful to me when I can double dip to get to $3.00 -- like when you combine Giant MD fuel points with S&S fuel points. Last spring, I got a separate S&S loyalty card and loaded that to my Shell Fuel Rewards account (where my Giant MD card was already registered). I recall buying GCs at both stores during a promo week and it worked perfectly to get to $3.00.

This week, I also bought GCs at both Giant MD and S&S with the appropriate cards. I went to S&S first. After I bought cards at Giant MD, I was surprised that my store receipt seemed to show a COMBINED total from both stores. Like I first earned 3000 points at S&S and then 3000 points at Giant MD, but my Giant MD receipt showed 6000 points. Is that normal? I thought the combined balance only showed up at Shell.

For folks who are finding "buddies" is the other territory, how are you actually doing business? If I'm in Giant MD territory, does my buddy get me a S&S card that I register to my Shell account and then he buys gift cards on that? And then do I do the reverse for him in MD?
