I should also add, I ran the same analysis for the same week for the Ritz Carlton Naples (FL). Using Points + Cash results is a far wiser decision than paying using cash. So, there are places to use Points but I've decided yet where those sweet spots are.

In addition, you could make the argument that using cash to generate a bunch of points that are not that valuable is just chasing my own tail.
