Negatives:
My fiancee was asked to cover her shoulders in order to use the club lounge. This really pi$$ed me off! I appreciate Indonesia is a Muslim country but this is an International hotel that serves pork and alcohol yet get offended by the sight of a woman's shoulders?!
I found the breakfast spread very limited and the quality of the food in general at the club lounge fairly poor.

Neutral:
Room decor was a little on the classic side of things, not contemporary in any way so not really my style
Location was pretty good adjoining the mall however it is a bit of a faff to work your way around the various elevators and corridors to connect between the two.

Positives:
Decent upgrade to suite despite booking lowest room class (I am Titanium)
Staff very helpful albeit slightly clueless e.g. my Eggs Royale came with a grilled salmon steak as they didn't have any smoked salmon!

In summary I doubt I will stay there again. If the club lounge had better food and a more welcoming dress code this might change things but I can't see that happening any time soon. I think I will give the Hermitage a whirl next time I have to visit.

I personally do like the Hermitage. It is in upscale neighborhood. I always stays over the weekend, so I am not sure what is the situation on weekday as there is 2 schools across the hotel.

However, the Hermitage does not have lounge, they do offer snacks for evening cocktails. Please take note since the merger, I was told that I need to choose between points and breakfast. I am not so sure now, as I checked in on 18-Aug and my rate include breakfast.

If you want nice lounge, Westin does have a nice lounge. Locationwise may be not so good as it is in the Kuningan which can be quite congested. But it is lovely place but they maintain high price. But I will choose Westin over JW if it matches the budget.
