The 747-400 aircraft may be configured in the same way but the crew facilties vary according to route used. An FA told me on the LHR - JFK route there is no sleeping are for the crew due to the short duation of the flight though on the HKG route they have to take a rest period. There was talk at one time of using QF 747's on domestic and European routes during the layover at LHR though problems with authorities seemed to end further discussion.
