Just got off the LHR-IAH flight and there were no mid flight snacks. I certainly understand on the red eyes why that may be the case but on the day flights. Was told the flight is not long enough.
To be fair I was looking for the cottage pie (a perennial favourite of mine) or a sandwich. Ended up having a left over cheese plate. They had chips/crisps, wrapped cookie, oranges and apples.
A couple of the FAs said I should write in. One FA usually works on the LHR-SFO flight so knew what I meant when asking for midflight snacks. The IAH crew said they are not on the LHR-IAH flights. Not sure why 10.5 hours would not warrant the midflight snack.
