Transpac, yes agree for UA any seat, (except the captain's) you should be able to pre-book as a 1K! I have never heard there was a problem with bulkheads Baze, even for 1P, but may be yet another rule I've not yet been recited by UA!

Darn shame I never knew about systemwide upgrade certs in January!

Imagine SYD-SFO-Calgary-DEN-ORD-MIA-Buenos Aires all upgraded right thru with ONE little piece of paper! That's about 15,000 miles as I recall over 3 continents!
