I can confirm that it's open. It's in the middle of downtown Green Bay on what seems to be a somewhat quiet side street a couple blocks from the river. Parking seems to be in nearby city garages; I didn't see any signs of a valet, but I suspect that there will/should be valet parkers when they're full. The hotel's lobby reflects its history.
There's an attractive looking small wine bar with comfortable soft seating in the middle of the block across the street from the hotel's main entrance.
Competitors include a Hyatt Regency a few blocks away and a new Koehler property near the football stadium, plus the historic renovated St Brendan's Inn on the edge of downtown (along the river) and the historic Union Hotel in De Pere. There's also a newish aloft on the other side of the Fox River, vaguely near the airport and the stadium, plus a RI (NOT downtown despite the word Downtown in its name), Delta (renovated former Ramada) by the airport, and Fairfield Inn and Springhill Suites, both in the stadium area.
