LAX OneWorld Business Lounge this week and a woman was talking DYKWIA loudly on her "earpiece/mic" cell phone as she wandered around. She followed me to the bar where we all heard her say loudly: " Now here is a question for you: should I have a small glass of red or a glass of white?". Oh I was so tempted! Just to provide gender balance, there was also a guy in similar mode discussing a planned advertising campaign - he was on the other side of the lounge from me!
I was in the CX First Lounge at LHR in the dining area. At the very furthest table away from me an American lawyer was talking very loudly on his mobile discussing a banking client dealing with a very sensitive case relating to financial regulation and the fact the Bank had broken trading rules. I was not tempted at all to disabuse him of his loudness or rudeness because I was very familiar with the case from the regulators side. The information he imparted was most useful.
However the way this 'gentleman' treated the very pleasant lounge staff was also disgusting. Quite an obnoxious and stupid individual.
