I’m flying EWR-HKG tomorrow 4/6; preflight was like $1600 or something stupid like that, but $650 at check in.

Going to take it given its 15 hrs. Gotta be leaps better than 10-across Y and deep vein thrombosis. FWIW seat maps looks nearly full with only about a dozen middle seats empty.

Also as a sort of datapoint, My friend did EWR-HKG in January on CX and upgraded via their auction for $500.
