Curious if the metro uses those stupid plastic tokens common in China, or something else.

Also, would like to know if plans are in the works for a seamless commuter rail/MRT/Transjakarta “contactless” card. You know, the thing Bangkok keeps screwing up.

I will be in Jakarta in a couple of weeks, and am eager to finally check their metro off of my list...but from your photos [MENTION=24159]jpatokal[/MENTION], signage and maps don’t look practical.
