Great, thank you for the detailed description. So when I gate-check it at ORD, it's either:

(1) GA attaches an orange "Return To Gate" tag, stroller is returned to the gate; or
(2) GA does not attach an orange "Return To Gate" tag, stroller goes to baggage claim
