I flew LHR-GOT last week on BA790. On arrival, and as per a recent update, we were met by buses. However, these did not then head to the departure area, but instead to the passport control and baggage claim end of the terminal. I asked about flight connections but was told that there were none, I would have to leave to go landside, and re-enter through security. In practice this really didn’t take long at all, the whole process was very swift and efficient. There was ample time to take a drink in the lounge and still make BA791 return.
Hopefully anyone doing the GOT B2B will be suitably lucky with a quiet airport as I was.
