Just want to give you an update. I really appreciate your advice. I feel the JL's J-product for the YVR-NRT route isn't worth a redemption at the moment. Maybe after they upgrade the product for post-June flights, then I'll reconsider. The flight is also a bit on the short side to justify using that much points. I decided to purchase NH Y to fly to HND. I also hate how JL flies to NRT.
