Seems like a bad idea. Phone agents give incorrect information all the time. The information on FT is much more accurate in aggregate. Crowdsourcing FTW...

Completely unrelated topic; in that thread I'm asking how the ticket will earn miles on AS. AS has some strange policies of crediting partner code-shares and they don't follow the policies on their website (they are more permissive than their website indicates) so I'm trying to clarify.

I have a somewhat complex itinerary and I'm asking for details about how things will work. I'm not sure why you have a problem with that.
