If I book a twin room in my name for 10 nights, and then leave back to work after 5, can the single person move into my bed even though the room is technically booked under my name?

Also, would I get the points for the full stay even if I am not there for the last 5 nights?

Thanks!
That depends on whether he has to show an ID for any reason while he is in your room. Is there a way to add your friend's name to the room reservation? If he were to lose his key and need a new one, he might have a hard time getting a new key if his name isn't on the room.

Since this is 5 nights, that could get complicated.

Maybe you could make 2 reservations: one for 5 nights in your name, and another for the next 5 nights in his name. It is possible to book points reservations using points from your account with another person's name on the reservation.
