The flights are:
Ticket 1: SFO-JFK. AS marketed and operated
Ticket 2: JL ticket stock:
JFK-SEA is AS marketed and operated
SEA-NRT-BKK-NRT-SEA is JL marketed and operated
SEA-JFK is AS marketed and operated
Ticket 1: JFK-SFO. AS marketed and operated
Ticket 1 is AS Ticket stock. Ticket 2 is JL ticket stock.
I have status on AS (MVPG, giving me free SDC, changes, and cancellations). No status on JL.
Basically I want to know if my ability to change my ticket 1 (eg, to SDC for free, or possibly to outright cancel the first leg should I happen to already find myself in NY at that time) will be affected by ticket 2.
I assume that I can make changes to ticket 1 (including outright canceling it) without affecting ticket 2 at all (ie, it doesn't need to be refared / reissued)
I also assume that the mere presence of ticket 2 on the PNR will not affect my ability to make those changes.
I understand that coupons on a single ticket must be flown in order, and no-showing for one will cause all future coupons to be canceled. I assume that that is not true for different tickets on the same PNR.
Are these assumptions correct?
