Most restrictive rule applies when combined two fares

Hi,

I'm trying to book a Y+ ticket from BKK to CDG via TPE, and something on the website is a bit off.
The flight leaving BKK is a T class, so 5000 THB to refund and 3500 THB to change the flight date.
The flight leaving CDG is a K class, so 2000 THB to refund and 0 THB to change the flight date.

The foot note clearly says "Most restrictive rule applies when combined two fares".

However, unlike Virgin Australia for example, it's not clear what is the fare component that is being considered the most restrictive. Is the date change falling into that category? If yes, does it mean that I'll still be charged 3500 THB to change my return ticket date even though I booked a 0 THB fare? Thanks
