At the minimum, until the FAA lifts the grounding, AS can't rely on having those frames in service on their previous timeline. Likewise, I find it unlikely that any carrier will be announcing additional MAX orders until the situation is resolved. Behind the scenes, sure.
I completely agree, no chance we’ll see any fleet announcements until the MAX’s are back in the air re-building public confidence.

I was just noting that I think keeping the public informed about those behind-the-scenes, 737-vs-A320 decisions is super low priority compared to getting them right.
