These threads always remind me of the PPI Refund threads on moneysavingexpert.... every single person that posts there for advice on making a complaint seems to be met with a queue of supposed experts telling the poster how their claim could never be successful because...reasons.

9 times out of 10 a few weeks later the complainant is reporting back to say they've now got their cheque for £X,000 and thanking everybody for their "help".
