What a remarkable coincidence that this response came in on 1st April, of all days...

In all seriousness (if this isn't an April fool), this does seem to be a big shift from a couple of years ago. I had a 2hr 58m delay (according to BA, but I thought it was 3:01), and got told to go away with nothing apart from a €6 sandwich. Thanks for reporting back!
