The normal DOM MLL Monday backlog waiting for an exit elevator is worse than normal as the elevator nearest the checkin desk works intermittantly. It appears the interlock sensing a closed door is glitchy.
A less than gentle smash on the door just as the sides met was sufficient to get us descending after 3 door "close and open cycles".
(The problem was not caused by those waiting pushing the call button too soon).
