No need to meet the night requirements of the respected elite status.

For example,

Select tier of the Marriott Vacation Club. You will be paying in total, over the 37 years, $120,000USD for the equivalent 5,700,000 MR points, 2cents per point. And 37 years of Platinum. Good Deal?

Presidential tier of the Marriott Vacation Club. You will be paying in total, over the 37 years, $150,000USD for the equivalent 15,000,000 MR points, 1cents per point. And 37 years of Titanium. Good Deal?

Interesting presentation. At the end, I didn't sign up for it, as I am only 3 years away from Lifetime Platinum, and currently an Ambassador. Before you leave, they will gift you, whether you sign up or not, a $125USD Marriott Gift Card.
I'm confused. What does "the equivalent of" fifteen million MR (would this be Bonvoy now?) points mean? Are these vacation club points, which can't be used interchangeably with Bonvoy/Starriott points for ordinary hotel award stays but only at vacation club properties? Are you also purchasing a time share property or something, or is it simply a long term contract to buy some points every year at a fixed price?

What happens when Bonvoy devalues the program/points?
