I'll be visiting Bangkok for the time and staying on points. If my goals are mostly tourist-centric focused on food and temples, would the HR or GH be a better place to in terms of location? Is there a big enough difference in terms of the hotel experience itself that would convince one to stay there as opposed to the nicer location?

From what I read, the PH is not nice enough to justify the cost difference and the HP is of sufficiently lower quality that the savings is not worth it. Do others also agree with those conclusions?
