Just completed my fourth stay (ha) and some casual observations:
While the downstairs restaurant ostensibly has a breakfast menu, it's a buffet every morning. The buffet is OK. Huge spread, but I find the eggs kind of mediocre and I can't make an entire breakfast out of fruit. No cappuccino or other espresso drinks is meh. I'd much rather have a non-room service option to order a la carte. The Grand Club might actually be better — a smaller, more focused spread with two nice warm options, often wonderfully prepared omelettes. And cappuccinos/espressos — from a machine, but good for machine drinks.
The bar is so wonderful — consistently with the same bartenders so they know what you like, strong and well made cocktails, and the food is nice. The mini-burgers are great.
Staff all recognizes me at this point and goes above and beyond. Can't pile up enough praise for this place. Oh, and: 4/4 for suite upgrades. A grand suite this time vs. the corner suite, which I kind of preferred as the shower is roomier and I don't need a panoramic view from my bed.
Wish it was in a location that let me access more... stuff, including nightlife, but an Uber to Zona T for nightly debauchery was $15 and 20 minutes on a busy Friday night. Could do a lot worse than that.
