FWIW - It will be two cities. I want to take advantage of some inexpensive rates over Labor Day but I have a vacation planned. I want to check in to one Hyatt on my way to work & check out on the way home. That night, I will be checking into another hotel in a different city.

I don't see why they wouldn't give me credit. I'm checked in and out and have paid my bill. I have paid for a night in a hotel (just for a late check out) and checked out without sleeping in the hotel.
