I agree with you. I don't care one bit about the 'smart luggage' concept. The only reason the Away appeals to me is that 1) it has 4 wheel spinners which my current Travelpro does not and 2) They say that their compression straps really help pack things down. If you have any other recommendations, would def appreciate it.
