Billy Dont do it. On a flight last week, the plane dropped due to turbulence and a lap baby went flying over the seat and passenger one row back caught her. Rules of physics state it is impossible to hole on when the plane hits severe turbulence.
Tha FAA states the most frequent injury on planes is burns from hot coffee, etc. Most of these occur on lap kids who end up requiring grafts. The second most is injuries from turbulence.
