I've always had mixed thoughts about the dayliner... I often preferred arriving off a redeye and staying up all day, but it was definitely a good flight for me if I had a meeting in the morning.
AC848 is ideal. Departs late enough to sleep immediately; arrives early enough for empty immigration, shower at the Arrivals lounge, and then in the office around 10am.
