A friend of mine was flying out of Brussels to Istanbul last winter and his flight was cancelled due to airport strikes. After rebooking twice and cancelling twice, he was finally flown out of Cologne. Would he be entitled to EC 261 compensation in this case? Or any other compensation? I fortunately have no experience with strikes.
