what a weird story - surely many of the passengers must have realized...unless it was 100% cloud cover, it's pretty obvious from LCY that you head out along the Thames and off the North Kent coast out to sea for Europe...despite being a fairly frequent flyer, I do still enjoy paying attention to what we're flying over and I'm pretty sure absent total cloud cover I'd have been onto this one pretty quickly! it must surely have had a few of the passengers puzzled!
