The PA is mostly not useful the long Q in the passport, go to the security and passport near the domestic terminal that it's less crowded (of course depend on your arrival time, but for the LH flight it's mostly empty always take me around 10 min) .
Yes, they can do nothing with the passport lines, although the PA who works there ought to know if there is a quicker route.....
