My experience is different.
My online travel purchases have been counting for online shopping. I would imagine if you had used the PayPal checkout option on southwest.com, it would have worked. What is the downside of using that?

I admit the PayPal wrapper helps flip the Y flag which is one of the requirements. I have just recently tested some mobile and online food ordering and will report back how those post. On one I used Visa checkout.
