Strange. I was there at the same time and had no problems at all with the checks.

I think others have suggested that you ask the front desk for the weekly schedule of what restaurant is open when. We did that and it helped meal planning tremendously.

Also, on the second-to-last night of our stay, the entire format at Fire changed and the portions became much more generous and enjoyable. Main courses now come with a whole slew of side dishes, all presented on a massive wooden plank.
