We're flying HNL-LAX on an award ticket using QF points, arriving at 5.54am, to connect to LAX-RDU on a revenue ticket departing 7.25am, both sectors in F. I'm hoping that, despite official policy to not through check luggage on separate PNRs (HNL-LAX-RDU), they are able to do so. If they don't/can't/won't, how feasible is it to deplane, collect luggage, drop off luggage, go through security again and make it to the gate within the 1.5hr timeframe at LAX? We have Pre-check, which hopefully will help... and we are both (relatively!) fit, able to hustle if necessary.

Plan B is to purchase 5 Star Service, would that help speed the process?
