It's a nice hotel, and conveniently situated for transport links - you can get to and from the airport easily by train or by bus from Sentral.
It has one of Hilton's better executive lounge, but this can get as unpleasantly packed as any of the others.
As for nightlife, who knows what you are after.
Bukit Bintang has a sophisticated sleaze reputation, club, bars and eating places for all tastes and pockets, and some of the fanciest shopping malls.
It is best reached by the new MRT line (Museum Negara station is an easy pedestrian walk-through from the hotel, and Bukit Bintang is three stops further towards the Kajang terminus of the line).
There are lots of hotspots around the city. They kind of focus on different groups.
