This Friday, I will be arriving at FRA on CO from EWR and connecting on LH to FMO. I have established that LH and CO have an interline agreement and can check my bag through to FMO in EWR, but I have conflicting info as to whether I must reclaim my bag in FRA or if I clear customs in FMO (Muenster/Osnabruck). Does anyone know how it works?

If I must collect it in FRA, is there an LH counter to re-check it after Customs, or must I carry-it to LH and leave it there?

If it is automatically transferred in FRA, where does it come-out in FRA? On the regular baggage claim? In a special area (if so, where do I get it?)? Does it just fall through the cracks?
