However, I'm surprised that in this case, the OP doesn't care about the cost of local transportation, with properties offering free airport shuttle service having a big advantage. A long expensive taxi or Uber ride would negate any savings on hotel room rates. Similarly, if OP doesn't quality for elite free breakfast, food costs could make a difference, with preference to places that do free breakfast for all.
