PDX-AMS 31-Mar. The connection AMS-BOM is 1-Apr. Travel agent says $900 penalty to change my D fare ticket. There is a KLM flight AMS-BOM three hours later, but will there be open space if the Jet flight doesn't operate? I've been stuck in much worse places than AMS.
last year i was on a dl ticket from jfk-ams-del....the ams-del sector was on 9w....my incoming flight was delayed so i missed my connection in ams....
dl gave me 3 choices:
1. wait almost 24 hours & take the next klm flight to del....
2. wait 3 hours & fly klm to dxb & connect 8 hours later to del on a 9w flight....
3. wait 4 hours & fly klm to kwi & connect 2 hours later to del on a ku flight....
i took option # 3....
