I am simply hanging by a thread with Alaska/Horizon. Maybe it's just me. In the meantime, I've just gotten off the phone with them and they are going to try to work some magic with reissuing my $50 companion voucher and [B]extending its deadline (which is why I ticketed this flight in the first place - I really didn't need to go to Miami right after Thanksgiving). I am going to get a full refund, no service charge (of course not, she said), and the companion voucher reissued and the deadline extended. In the meantime, I know folks complain about NWA but I never spent as much time on the phone with them as I have the last few years with Alaska and Horizon. Coupled with the fact that the Bellingham-Seattle flights are horrendously overpriced, I am quickly looking elsewhere for flight options out of the Great NW! (As my husband just commented - no wonder the airlines are in trouble - did they just think we wouldn't notice this schedule change?). And BLI-Flyer, there were no other options on partners for my dates - a redeye out the night before was the only option.
