Is there a good summary somewhere of the advantages/disadvantages of starting an itinerary in a particular region/subregion? For example, starting in Japan limits the amount of miles you can earn since you can't stopover in the country of origin (Japan is convenient for long segments within Asia). Or starting in Middle East may limit your stopovers due to routing rules, etc.
