Flying 787-8 CW, two of us each having a small rollaboard and a tote bag. (Both under the posted size limits for carryon).

The rollaboards will go in the overhead but from looking at the pictures and reading all these threads, I can’t for the life of me figure out where one keeps a handbag. On Delta1 you have underseat storage but I don’t see that being available on this config. We are in 3 J and K outbound, 1 J and K on the return. The main concern would be on the outbound which is an overnight flight and I wouldn’t want to disturb other passengers by opening and closing the overhead bin.
