Mine had tiles. Upgrade chance is good. I got jun suite as a gold. But the hotel might be very busy if there is an event at excel. Whatever you decide, don't go to Hampton Docklands. I caught their housekeeper not changing bedsheets between departing and arriving guests. The manager just shrugged her shouldres, no apology whatsoever.
