A similar question, if I purchased a refundable discount Economy ticket ex MEL with a travel certificate (with a PIN), presumably I am best just to keep the ticket as unused rather than requesting a refund which sounds painful from the above in terms of getting another travel certificate. My understanding is I can avoid this by cancelling the original flight booking and reusing the ticket towards another trip within a year of purchase. Does this sound right? Thanks!
