I'm a newbie so forgive me; I did research the prior posts but did not see anything on point. Here's my story:

I have Global Entry and Nexus, US citizen and GE was set to expire in June 2019. When I went on-line on GOES I saw that my Nexus membership does not expire for another year. So yes, I'm covered until June 2020. I can start the renewal process this June and that's what I'm wondering.

1. In June, will the option be to renew for Nexus only? Or will it be for GE? Or both? I realize Nexus replaces GE.

2. But I really don't need Nexus. Besides, I never went through the eye scanner process for Nexus (it would have been done on my next visit to Canada).

3. My preference is to simply get GE renewed.

I'm not sure if anybody has had this experience.
