Ah. Alle is klaar.

This happened to me yesterday at the Tesco Metro Wimbledon. Needed a "vocal authorisation" and a manager to ring up from the CS desk.

It's a bit of a shag. I fear not the walk of shame, I know I'm good for £53 worth of coffee and I'm not that fussed if the pikey clientele in Tesco tut and scoff and think I'm not. But having to repeatedly go to a manager whilst she/he rings through enough coffee to fuel the WI through fiscal 04/05 might lead to some awkward questions.

I've read here of people seeing bulk buying policies posted on the way in to some Tescos. Of the 10 or so in London that are on my usual hit list, I've yet to see such a sign.

The whole business is pretty daft, isn't it? They must realise that if they're simply trying to stop someone raking in points, that person is likely to have more than one piece of plastic at their disposal.
