If you aren't flying, and staying downtown, why use a lot at the airport?

If you want to park in a lot or garage, spothero or parkingpanda should find the lowest rates. But if it were me, I'd just look for free and legal street parking outside the downtown core, say, somewhere within a block or two of the St Charles streetcar uptown. Leave nothing at all visible in the car, and it should be fine.
