They have international movies / music / TV. It's not the best range so I would recommend to bring an iPad loaded with something to keep you occupied. That is what I did most times. Buon viaggio.
This is my approach as well. I don't bother when flying airlines that have awesome IFE (e.g. Delta), but certainly do on Chinese airlines.
