This page says they have to be <100 ml. But I looked on several Chinese airline sites, including China Eastern which we're flying, and did not find that restriction.
Speaking from experience at PEK, the signage was a bit confusing, but I think aligns with the summary on their website:
For domestic flights, liquids are not allowed in hand luggage (except cosmetics, toothpastes and shaving cream for private use during the air travel). Cosmetics for private use during the air travel in hand luggage must meet the following three requirements: only one for each type, carried in a container of no more than 100mL, and subject to bottle-open check. If the volume of the container is more than 100ml, it is not allowed in hand luggage even when the cosmetics, toothpaste and shaving cream in it is less than 100mL or 100g. Duty-free liquids carried in hand luggage of travelers transfer from international and regional flights to domestic flights through the same airport controlled area must meet the following three requirements: with receipt or invoice, put in a transparent, sealed and intact plastic bag, subject to security check. If the traveler leave the airport controlled area during flight transfer, the duty-free liquids must be put in checked luggage.
As noted in my other post, what rules are actually enforced is a different question, but I'd suggest keeping everything below 100ml should give you the best chance.
